The emphasis in online gaming, especially in first person shooters, has lead to a variety of players and personalities to mesh in a single environment. If you've ever seen Big Brother or The Real World, you'll know by now that 90% of these personalities are annoying and aggravating. Like leeches they latch onto the multiplayer and suck the fun right out of the game. Eager PS3 owners (including myself) won't have to wait much longer for Heavy Rain - a release date is set for February 23rd. In addition to a release date, it was also announced that anyone who pre-orders the game will get the first episode of DLC - "Heavy Rain Chronicles - The Taxidermist" - for free....

The last weekend of a two month long release of Halo Legends on the Xbox Live Marketplace finally concludes today with Origins Pt. 1 (the Making Of video will be releases next week). Creating a dungeon crawling hack-and-slash game these days is mighty tough on the developers. Each game that even attempts to go near the genre gets compared to the Diablo series and ultimately gets crushed in its shadow. Prepare to ‘Return to Ostagar’ with the new Dragon Age DLC

BioWare has announced the first full DLC expansion for Dragon Age: Origins. The DLC will bring players back to Ostagar, site of the original massive battle that starts off the main storyline. Without giving out any spoilers, the basic gist of the DLC is that the player learns of a survivor from the battle that requires the help of the Grey Wardens. The DLC will also include a second chance to add Dog to your party as well as new weapons and armor.
