Ever since the birth of the Tiger Woods game series, Tiger was the only person to feature on the cover of the games. Interesting, eh? Nah maybe not, but what is interesting is that this is going to change this year. Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy will feature alongside the troubled golfer in the 2011 edition of the game later this year. If you want even more information on where they're taking this series, then you'll be interested to know that the Ryder Cup, quickly becoming a prestigious ...

If like me you’re a fan of MMA as well as gaming, then you’ll know the excitement surrounding Brock Lesnar. He apparently disappeared from the sport and came back in a blaze of flames and is ready to take the UFC by storm once again. Well that’s it in a nutshell anyway and if my theories are correct, then Lesnar making the cover of the hotly anticipate UFC game is evidence that he’s the future of the sport.
It’s quite a cover, much better than the first UFC game, which had a battere...
Metroid: Other M – An Origin Story of Tragedy and Revenge?
"Samus Aran, 16 years old is lost and confused; Raised by the Chozo on the alien planet, Zebes, she has learned much about their ways and realizes how indebted she is to their race for taking her in as an orphaned child. However, despite their kindness and hospitality she cannot shrug off the insistent urge to understand who she is, and discover who was responsible for the death of her parents and homeland colony, K-2L.
Remarkably, as she wanders around one day outside the village she is fou...
Iwata: ‘Big iPod Touch’ not a concern
If you've just arrived to Pandora recently, connected your internet, and have been out on your Avatar since yesterday, then here's what you missed. Food is in pill form, cars run on electricity and human blood, and Apple announced the iPad, the best/worst thing to happen to Twitter, Apple fans, and the tampon market.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata seems unfazed. The iPad, poised to compete with the DSiXLGT2000, is just a "big iPod Touch". At least, that's what he told the Associated Press. H...
Mega Man 10 Gets Official Box Art
If the box art to Mega Man 9 didn't get you in the retro mood then Mega Man 10's will. Oh and just curious, does Proto Man's new look remind you of anyone? I mean I could've sworn I've seen someone before with long blonde hair and a green saber. No? Oh well.
I still find it weird that over 20 years after the original MM's release we're sitting here talking about the 10th installment in the Classic series. Ahh, so nostalgic......
Luigi’s Mansion 2 in the Works?
I don't know why there was such animosity toward Luigi in his haunted mansion outing, but to me it was an experience that I will cherish forever. Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true. I still remember being the first in line after waiting hours and hours at a local retailer to pick my new Nintendo Gamecube at the strike of midnight. The game of choice was none other than Luigi's Mansion, which I didn't even get to play until the next afternoon since once I got home my best friend had t...
Reggie Shrugs Shoulders as New Super Mario Bros. Passes PS3 Modern Warfare 2
Back in November Reggie Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo of America, stated that New Super Mario Bros Wii would outsell one console version of Modern Warfare 2 over the course of three months. The challenge ends at the end of the January, but we're only 2 weeks into the new year and already NSBW has dominated over Modern Warfare's PS3 sales. Mario made Nintendo a whopping 4.21 million, whereas MW2 for PS2 stands at 2.95 million - both numbers are impressive, but they both fall short of the 36...

Nobody really thought we were done with this, did they?
Of course not. Mega Man is a franchise that is more cherished the older, glitchier, and stranger it gets. Clearly, it is unkillable. Not that anybody's trying to kill it. Except for legions of menacing, mechanical murderbots.
This time around, there is NO strangely-haired super scientist trying to explode his devious whatever all over the planet. You might say this is a departure for the series. But fear not, classic Mega ...

You probably don't know Tim Kitzrow.
He's not a household name, except maybe in his own. He sounds like a guy who takes out the trash, mows the lawn, and all right, fine, he'll takes the dog for her night walk because Jimmy forgot to, but he's not happy about it. He sounds like "Tim Kitzrow, you know, from accounting?"
But Tim Kitzrow is much, much more than an office worker and dedicated parent. In fact, I have no idea if he is either of those things. What we know for sure about...

Baseball games have come a long way from "Bases Loaded." The crowds cheer instead of blink, the players and teams are real players and teams, and the bat doesn't make a weird metallic sound when it hits the ball. Not to mention the plethora of minute facets of the game, on both the physical and business sides of the game, that have been incorporated into impressive baseball titles. With the upcoming "Major League Baseball 2K10," (Seriously, the 'K' isn't abbreviating it anymore, guys), 2K ...
