Despite news of the recent release date push back for Splinter Cell Conviction, it turns out it isn’t as bad as it seems. News from the Tokyo Game Show has revealed that Conviction will be available to the general public on February 23, 2010. This was one of the more highly anticipated titles of 2009, and even with the delay it isn’t much longer of a wait for those itching for a Splinter Cell fix.
For those who haven’t been following the series, Conviction is the fifth title in the series. This installment of the series will see Sam Fisher going solo in an attempt to rescue his daughter after being betrayed by his former employer, The Third Echelon.
Along with the announcement of the release date, a new trailer for the game has been released, which you can watch after the break.
