Final Fantasy XIII isn't even out yet but Square Enix isn't wasting any time; they recently opened up applications for the PC beta of Final Fantasy XIV. According to the site "All individuals are invited to apply regardless of their past MMORPG experience", which may hint towards something different for the formula of the game.
