Weeks of endless controversy have come to a head as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hit stores last night at midnight.
Arguments regarding the effects of video game violence took the opportunity to resurface in the months prior to the game's release, as politicians and other organizations swore COD would warp children's minds and turn them into brainwashed killers. (more...)...
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Beta Launches November 19th

DICE and EA announced today that a PS3 exclusive multiplayer demo for its upcoming game Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be arriving on November 19th. The Battlefield multiplayer demo will feature 24 players competing in one of the four new modes called Rush on a map named Arica Harbor. Details for beta key distribution can be found here.

Edit 2 - 8:11PM - Kotaku attempted to contact Robert Bowling for an "official" statement on the streak. Bowling states: "Can't confirm nor deny any leaks for #MW2. Official stance is to just wait and discover the awesome yourself on November 10th."
